2014 (What a Year!)

Hey guys! How you been? I know. I know. It's been a while since I last blogged. I apologize for the late post. There is a lot that been going on with my life. 2014 has been an amazing year! I got to travel to Haiti. I met my family and friends. I went to Port- Au-Prince and Aux Cayes. The country is so beautiful! The mountains, the beach, the food and the people are like no other! I also started a new job using my Social Media skills at an university. It definitely doesn't feel like work when you do what you love! I  also co-founded a creative branding company with my sister and graduated with Bachelors in Speech Language Pathology and stayed at the iconic Fontainebleau Resort in Miami Beach!!!

What a year! I just want to encourage you to not give up on your dreams. God knows your every need and desires. Make sure to have a personal relationship with Christ while you have time! It's more than going to church- spend time with HIM, pray, fast, worship, praise and read your BIBLE! This is so important in this life! I pray you have an amazing 2015!

Nothing Is Impossible With God

I took this picture during my cruise to Mexico. This picture always remind me that there is nothing impossible with God. How amazing is that! Our Creator made the sun, the moon, the sky, the ocean animals, plants and us! He took the time to make sure everything was good. He knitted us in our mother's womb, making sure that we were fearfully and wonderfully made. Don't you think that God knows every detail of your life? Don't you think He wants to have an intimate relationship with you? Trust Christ. He knows and He cares about your life. #ocean #trust #faith #thegreatunknown #wherefeetmayfail #hillsong

Haitian Flag Day T-Shirts!

It's that time of year again! Haitian Flag Day. May 18th! I'm Haitian American so this is a very important day for me! May 18th has been observed as the Haitian Flag Day as it has become a symbol of pride, unity, and individual liberty. In Haiti, Flag Day is a major national holiday celebrated with great fanfare on the grounds of the national palace and all cities in the country; also in other countries with a large number of Haitians. In the United States, Haitians give homage to the blue and red flag by carrying it around with them for at least a week.

I remember when I was in high school I used to go all out on May 18th wearing my red and blue colors! I was so proud to rep my country. I notice that in this age of technology that there isn't a lot of website selling Haiti T-shirts and accessories for this exciting day, so I decided to create some nice Haiti gear! Instead of driving all over the city to look for Haiti tees you can buy some accessories online at my "I Love Haiti" store . Here is the link https://shop.spreadshirt.com/ILoveHaiti/. You can also wear the T-shirt at the Haitian Compas Festival! Awesome! Check out some designs below!

So You Want To Start a Fast?

“In those days I, Daniel, was mourning three full weeks. I ate no pleasant food, no meat or wine came into my mouth, nor did I anoint myself at all, till three whole weeks were fulfilled.” Daniel 10:2, 3
Hey guys,  I know it's been a while since I last blogged! I recently finished a 40 day fast, yup a 40 day fast!!! I wanted to do the fast so I can draw my relationship to Jesus much closer. I also wanted to dedicate the first 40 days to HIM! Now my fast was kind of extreme so you don't have to do 40 days.
The Daniel Fast is where you eat certain types of food for 21 days so you can have a closer relationship with God just like Daniel did in the bible.  Let's get this clear! A fast is not a diet! If you're goal for this fast is to lose weight...you might as well quit. The main goal of fasting is to get an intimate relationship with your Heavenly Father. It is denying your flesh so you can hear more from Him. It's about spending more time reading and studying the Word and also in prayer. In time you will noticed that your body will lose weight, some of your body ailments will disappear. (These are some of the benefits but this is not the goal of fasting).

My fast started from 6am - 6pm. After 6pm I ate very light vegan food. I mostly ate raw fruits and veggies, oats and nuts. To be honest the fast was kind of hard but you'll get through it with the grace of God! After completing the fast I felt more at peace, full of love joy and kindness for others. My faith in God increased and I also crave more for the Word. The fast doesn't have to be with just food you can fast from Facebook/ Twitter, Internet, television so that you have more time to pray read and study the Word of God! I pray this blesses and encourages you ! Let me know if you're going to start the Daniel Fast!

I provided a list below of the foods to include in your Daniel Fast! Enjoy!

This is my favorite product at Whole Foods! Apple Cider Vinegar has so many benefits for your health and beauty! What I love about this product is that it's easy to use! You can sprinkle some on your salads and even popcorn! I prefer to drink with my smoothies and juices. You can even drink with water and organic honey (if you don't like the taste). You can also use it as toner for your face!
Here are some the benefits:
  • Reduce sinus infections and sore throats
  • Balance high cholesterol
  • Cure skin conditions such as acne
  • Protect against food poisoning
  • Fight allergies in both humans and animals
  • Prevent muscle fatigue after exercise
  • Strengthen the immune system
  • Increase stamina
  • Increase metabolism which promotes weight loss
  • Improve digestion and cure constipation
  • Alleviate symptoms of arthritis and gout
  • Prevents bladder stones and urinary tract infections
So many benefits from one little bottle! Make sure you check with your doctor first !

Happy New Year!

Wow we made it to 2013! Thank you Jesus! 2012 was a great year for me! I witness how God moved through all areas of my life. Whether it was through work, school, relationships, health, finances and more..my Jesus was there. With the start of the New Year, mostly everyone is writing out their new goals and resolutions. Some people probably want to lose weight, start on their dreams, make more money etc. But friend let me tell you if God is nowhere in your plans don't be surprise when things don't go according to your plans. God wants to be numero uno in our life! He wants to bless us with an abundant life!

Matthew 6:33 (KJV) But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

John 10:10 (KJV)"The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly."

In order to do that you have to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. Jesus died on the cross for our sins. Sins are whatever that keeps you separated from God. Confess your sins and repent. Repent means to turn away from. When you start following Christ truly you would want to stay obedient to his Word. Your whole way of thinking will change and even your heart! Yes, we are not perfect and we will make mistakes but God has new mercies for us each and everyday.
Lamentations 3:23 They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness. So with that I pray you have an awesome 2013 filled with love, joy, peace and prosperity in Jesus' name!
